Our Background
AMT-American Express Travel was established in 1980 and is now one of Southern California' s largest leisure travel agencies with over 20 years of experience working with Independent Contractors in the US.
Because of our affiliation with AMERICAN EXPRESS we have access to one of the most comprehensive travel services and travel discount programs in the industry. All of which you can offer to your clients. In addition to the tremendous benefits for your clients, we also have the flexibility to customize our program to the needs of each Independent Contractor. Our Program
We work only with dedicated leisure agents who are committed to the travel industry. Because the majority of the profit available is through Tour & Cruise bookings, that is what our Independent Contractor Program focuses on. Through our specially designed Independent Contractor web site, you will be able to research and book all of your leisure tours and cruises online from your home computer.

Courses may be taken individually or as part of the Independent Travel Agents/Home Based Business package. The package offers one of the following courses: Taking Off In Travel, Travel Sales and Trends, The Cruise Market, Selling Vacation Packages and Tours and Developing Specialty Vacation Packages. You choose the course your prefer to begin with as a premium travel agent.
