Climate

Pamplona - Pamplona with its cobblestone streets and Fiesta de San Fermin is where tourists flock to get their fill of charging bulls. This festival takes place between the 6th to the 14th of July every year.

Parc Guell - On a hill with a magnificent view of Barcelona is the Parc Guell filled with ceramic benches, pillars, lizards and slanting pathways.

Donana National Park - This national park is probably the only last wild national park and reserve in Europe. There are more than 150 species of bird and wildlife in this park. You may be lucky to get a glimpse of the imperial eagle or lynx while you are exploring this park.

The Guggenheim - Called ‘the greatest building of our time’ for a reason, this Frank-Gehry designed museum attracts millions of visitors every year and houses works by Picasso and Rothko.

 

Things to do:

Skiing - If you are near tourist destinations like Malaga or Torremolinos, then you can go skiing on the Sierra Nevada Mountains. You can combine skiing and sunbathing in Andalucia.  

Local Village fiesta - Though most local village fiestas are religious, they are fun events. Processions and parties that carry on all night are what make these fiestas so unique.

Gorge on Tapas - Nothing is more authentic or Spanish than sitting in a local bar with a drink in one hand and tapas in the other.

Café lounging - Sitting in one of the typically Spanish cafes that are there in every city, town and village, you can watch the sights and sounds of all things Spanish. This is one thing that every tourist must do while in Spain.

Do the Flamenco - You do not have to be good at it; you just need to be enthusiastic and tap your feet to the Flamenco music. There is something very exhilarating about joining the locals in the seductive Flamenco dance.

Enjoy a village trail - If you want a typical tour of a Spanish village then you have to take a tour of the villages in Andalucia. The Churches, the whitewashed houses and the cobblestones streets are all typically Spanish.

Football - You cannot leave Spain without enjoying some Football. Real Madrid of Spain is now the best football team in Europe. Who knows, you may catch a glimpse of Figo, Ronaldo or even David Beckham while you are vacationing in Spain.
